AQUALine Power Hybrid
AQUALine Power Hybrid is a steel reinforced 1 kV power cable for supplying power from land to an island or islet. AQUALine Power has an inner and outer sheath of polyethylene, making the cable suitable for installation in salt water.
Between the sheaths there are reinforcements of galvanized steel wires for strain relief and mechanical protection. AQUALine Power Hybrid includes a fibre optic cable in accordance with the customer’s specification.
As an alternative, an empty tube can be included to allow installation of additional fibre. Available with bare Class 2 copper conductors, bare or tin-coated Class 5 copper conductors.
