ACSR

The ACSR is designed around a galvanized steel core that may consist of one or more wires. The proportion of steel and aluminium in a ACSR conductor depends on the mechanical strength and the power load required. ACSR combines aluminium's excellent conductivity with the steel’s high tensile strength. Longer span lengths can be obtained than with most other types of conductors.
Additional corrosion protection is available through different grease alternatives.

AL1 -AAC

Aluminium wire (AL1) is used in low, medium and high voltage lines.

AL59 - AAAC

Aluminum alloy, that maintain a high conductivity together with a increased tensile strength.

AlMgSi (AL7) - AAAC

AlMgSi-alloy (AL7) is designed to have a higher strength to weight ratio.
