In 2018, Amokabel invested in a state-of-the-art production line dedicated to ROV and Umbilical applications, strengthening our ability to deliver advanced subsea cable solutions. With this investment, we can manufacture cables according to standard requirements, while also offering fully customized designs tailored to specific client needs. Our production capabilities allow for the integration of a large number of conductors as well as fiber, Kevlar, and other specialized materials. With a wide range of sheathing plastics available, we can produce cables with unique characteristics, including abrasion resistance, buoyancy, and multiple layers of steel armoring. In addition, our equipment is designed for manufacturing long lengths, a key requirement for ROV and Umbilical applications. This combination of flexibility, material expertise, and cutting-edge technology enables Amokabel to deliver reliable and robust subsea cables for the most demanding environments.

We can manufacture special cables in several different designs: solid, flexible, or extra flexible conductors; bare copper wire, tinned copper, or flexible aluminum conductors, from class 1 to class 5. For low temperatures (-60 °C) or high temperatures (+180 °C). Shielding with braid or foil, armoring with steel wire or steel tape. We can produce cables with cross-sections up to 2,000 mm² and diameters up to 100 mm. We offer several different insulation materials such as PVC, Polyolefin, XLPE, TPE, PE, TPU, EPR, and silicone.
