The first company in the group, Alstermo Produktion (now amo special cable) was registered on 25 May 1992.

Production started in Målerås, in one of Målerås Mekaniska premises, by Jan Blad and Erland Erlandsson.

Jan and Erland celebrate this with a glass of champagne at our very extrusion line P1, where the gutter is still original.
