Launching Our New Medium Voltage Cables – Built for a More Sustainable and Reliable Power Grid
We’re proud to announce the launch of Amokabel’s brand-new medium voltage cable, developed with a strong focus on sustainability, quality, and flexibility, and produced using 100% renewable energy.
This new cable combines high technical performance with a commitment to environmental responsibility. The materials are sourced from several carefully selected and controlled suppliers, with final quality assurance carried out at our facility in Alstermo. We take full responsibility for the finished product, including all certifications and complete environmental documentation, such as the EPD.

Production underway – up to 72.5 kV and 1x1200 mm²
We have also begun production of single-core cables ranging from 1x95 mm² to 1x1200 mm², with voltage levels up to 72.5 kV. This allows for scalable solutions across local and regional grids, where high current-carrying capacity and operational reliability are key.

The launch took place at Elfack on May 6 and marks the start of a series of customer activities throughout the spring – including technical meetings, product briefings, and project planning ahead of the sales start.
