TEXILine Heli Twist Cu DC EMC
The DNV-approved TEXILine Heli Twist Cu DC EMC is a flexible shipboard power cable for fixed installations both indoors and outdoors, specially engineered for DC applications in marine and offshore environments where EMC protection and high reliability are critical.
Built with flexible copper conductors in accordance with IEC 60228 class 5, the cable ensures easy installation and secure connections. Each of the four single-core cables is equipped with a braided copper screen and an outer sheath before being helically twisted together, ensuring effective heat transfer and higher current-carrying capacity per conductor while providing strong EMC protection against electromagnetic interference.
The conductors are double insulated with XLPE, with thickness rated for 1.8/3kV AC, making the cable suitable for systems where DC ripples or higher voltage classes are required. With its robust and innovative design, TEXILine Heli Twist Cu DC EMC is ideal for narrow spaces and for use under the most challenging marine and offshore conditions.
