About us

- Success story

Cable manufacturing since 1992

The Amokabel success story began in 1992 with the founding of its first company. By consistently focusing on technological development, modernization, and customer-specific solutions, we have rapidly grown into a profitable and successful international cable manufacturer. Today, the group includes several companies dedicated to cable manufacturing and distribution, as well as renewable energy production from solar, wind, and hydropower. Our headquarters and main factory in Alstermo cover a total production area of 32,000 m².

Global expansion

While we initially served only the local market, the majority of our sales now come from exports. With our own sales offices and an extensive global distribution network, we are present worldwide. Our cables are used at some of the world’s largest airports, and our unique covered conductors electrify several countries in Asia. Consumer-packaged installation cables are available in most retail chains across Scandinavia.

Flexibility and short lead times

We run our business based on the following guiding principles:

Our business is built on three guiding principles: innovation, flexibility, and speed. These values shape everything we do and position us as a trusted partner in a constantly evolving market.

Innovation is at the heart of our operations. We always start with customer insights – identifying needs and transforming them into new solutions or improvements to existing products. The cable industry is in constant change, and we continuously evaluate and adapt constructions, conductors, plastics, and packaging to stay ahead.

What sets us apart is our ability to deliver quickly with exceptional flexibility. Unlike many competitors, we can produce customized volumes without strict minimum order requirements. This means we can easily adapt production to meet specific demands, whether it’s related to volume, packaging, or product design.

With a customer base of more than 500 companies, many of whom rely on our unique capacity to fulfill special requirements, we take pride in being a supplier that consistently delivers precision, speed, and tailor-made solutions.
