TEXILine Heli Twist Cu DC
The DNV-approved TEXILine Heli Twist Cu DC is a flexible shipboard power cable designed for fixed installations both indoors and outdoors, with a special focus on DC applications in marine and offshore environments.
Built with flexible copper conductors in accordance with IEC 60228 class 5, the cable ensures easy handling, installation, and connection. Each of the four single-core cables is individually sheathed before being helically twisted together, allowing for efficient heat transfer and higher current-carrying capacity per conductor.
For enhanced safety and performance, the conductors are double XLPE insulated, with thickness rated for 1.8/3kV AC to withstand DC ripples or system-specific higher voltage requirements. This makes TEXILine Heli Twist Cu DC an ideal choice for narrow installation spaces and for operation under the most demanding marine and offshore conditions.
