Amokabel announces acquisition of high performance cable factory
Amo Special Cables Limited announced today that it has completed the acquisition of the High Performance Cable factory from Leviton Manufacturing UK Limited. The factory, located at Leigh in Lancashire is the production site for Brand-Rex High Performance Cables. Today the factory at Leigh host 90 employees and sales are mainly within automotive, defence and industry sector.
Henrik Blad, CEO stated” We are delighted to acquire this factory from Leviton and its enviable Brand Rex High Performance Cables. The business has a proud history and a strong position in the market for high temperature cables. This acquisition means that we can add more products and production capacity for our existing special cables customers and grow in new markets with a broader portfolio of products. Moreover, we are glad to add skilled employees within production, quality and sales to the Amokabel group” says Henrik Blad, CEO.
Chris Prescott will remain as Chief Operational Manager for the Leigh Unit.
