Amokabel is taking the next step in the development of its power segment offering by tripling its capacity for bare conductors. This investment is a natural part of the company’s long-term product strategy and further strengthens its position as a full-service supplier to the energy sector.

At a time when electrification and increasing demands for resilient power grids are in focus, the need for reliable access to key components in energy infrastructure continues to grow. By significantly expanding its capacity within the bare conductor segment, Amokabel is creating the conditions for high delivery reliability, shorter lead times, and increased flexibility – both in Sweden and internationally. The expansion will be implemented progressively and will be fully established by 2028.

– “We see a clear need for more secure supply in a market characterized by uncertainty. By strengthening our capacity, we can provide better project control and reduce risk exposure,” says Peter Eriksson, CEO of Amo Kraftkabel AB.

The increased capacity enables Amokabel to meet growing demand from grid owners, contractors, and industrial players, while also strengthening Europe’s overall supply capability for critical energy infrastructure.

With local production, high environmental standards, and full traceability, Amokabel offers a solution that meets future regulatory requirements and sustainability targets. This reduces dependency on global supply chains and contributes to a more robust energy supply.

For customers, this means improved delivery reliability, shorter lead times, and greater project predictability. For Sweden and Europe, it means enhanced supply capacity and reduced vulnerability in the energy system. For society as a whole, a stable electricity infrastructure is a fundamental prerequisite for growth, transition, and security.

– “This is not just about capacity. It’s about taking responsibility at a time when energy is central to societal development. We are building on our experience to remain a long-term and reliable partner,” continues Peter Eriksson.

Amokabel holds a strong position within the power segment, with proven delivery capability, technical expertise, and close customer relationships. The expanded capacity for bare conductors represents a clear step in further developing the offering and reinforcing its role as a complete partner for energy infrastructure.
