Having a Broad Role Is What Makes the Job Most Enjoyable

Richard Andersen works as a Quality Technician at Amokabel. His role is very broad, and he always needs to be ready to step in wherever needed to ensure production runs as smoothly as possible.

“My role here is very broad. I primarily work with quality and claims, but also with many other areas related to technology and design. I design new products, carry out internal testing, and work with the development and testing of new materials.

I also work extensively with different types of environmental declarations, such as EPDs and building product assessments. In my role, I support our production managers during internal test runs and provide technical support to our customers. I plan and book all external tests that need to be carried out and make sure we comply with all the technical obligations and requirements that apply to us,” says Richard.

“My biggest challenge is probably finding enough time to do everything I want to do.”

“Besides my amazing colleagues, the best part is the variety. I can work on very different tasks from day to day, which means you’re constantly learning new things and continuing to develop.”
